Booking & FAQs
To be considered part of Elizabeth & Aaron's Wedding Group, you must book through the group rates and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). We have negotiated competitive group rates and secured a room block to make this as easy as possible. To participate in all of the wedding-related activities, you must stay at Royalton Riviera Cancun as part of the wedding group.
A deposit in the amount of $250.00/person is required to reserve your room and book your stay by June 13, 2024.
The deadline for the balance to be paid is June 26, 2025.
You do not need to know all the parties in the room, the travel dates, or the room category; book your room based on what you think you will need and any changes can be made until the balance due date.
Any new bookings or changes requested after the balance due date must be paid for in full upfront even before they are confirmed. Name changes are deemed cancellations of the original booking and new bookings per the hotel; therefore, bookings are nontransferable after the due date of June 26, 2025, and will be charged accordingly.
What is the cancellation policy?
Any deposit or payments made towards bookings as part of wedding groups are non-refundable and non-transferrable. We suggest you cover your trip with Trip Cancellation insurance.
Is travel insurance available?
Travel Insurance is available and highly recommended. Mangata Escapes is proud to offer insurance for Canadian guests through Manulife Insurance. Rates are per person, depending on the cost of the of your trip. Travel Insurance can be added at any point; however, in order to receive the full benefit of the travel insurance, you must added at the time of booking. Otherwise, the "Cancel For Any Reason" benefit will not apply and the only benefits will be for in-travel issues. Please note that once purchased, travel insurance is non-refundable.
Will I need a passport?
Yes! A passport is needed to fly anywhere internationally - please take the time now to locate your passport and check the expiration date; make sure it is valid for 6 months after your anticipated return date.
Here are the steps on how to set up your accommodations:

Select your Hotel, Dates, and Room Category.
Fill out the booking form with all guest names and information.
Important: Make sure to submit your deposit payment + the full cost of Trip Insurance (if opted-in).
Additional Payment Information
To make additional payments, please go back onto the website and submit your payment through the ‘‘Make a Payment’’ button at the bottom. You will also be receiving monthly reminders upon booking your stay with a direct payment link attached. You can use that link to submit payments as well.
Important: Please make sure to only submit a payment after booking your room and if you have an existing booking. New bookings must be submitted through the ‘‘Book Now’’ button first.
